Big data led the conversation during a Boston-based event highlighting software products new to the market.
“What to do with big data, how to manage it, how to mine it, how to present it in a way that decisions can be made,” said Tracy Curley, a partner with the financial services company CohnReznick in Boston. CohnReznick was the co-sponsor of July’s Mass Innovation Night.
Innovation Nights are held once a month, highlighting 10 companies local to Massachusetts. The showcase features the latest products from startups to established companies. The latest event took place in the Seaport District in Boston.
One of the companies at the event was REALToDoCRM.
“We’re a client relations management and transaction management system specifically aimed at the real estate industry,” said James Royce Threadgill, founder of REALToDoCRM.
The company's CRM solution is mobile and cloud-based, allowing for data to instantly sync between computers and mobile devices. Multiple users can access a single account, so the data can be easily shared among the real estate team.
“Teams really want realtors to use [these systems], but realtors are slow to adopt the technology because they are a little too cumbersome. Really, it’s more than they need, and they just want something simple,” said Threadgill.
SalesEQUITY was also at the event. The B2B client engagement platform is trying to change the world of client satisfaction. The SaaS-based application collects data from disparate systems. The insight makes it easier to predict and correlate customer experience to revenue.
“You can tailor your experience to your exact needs of each buyer at each one of your clients and that’s one of the big trends we are seeing today -- client experience matters,” said Tom Cates, chief client officer at salesEQUITY.
