AppDynamics' Pioneer tier will be limited to about 45 partners in its first year, and those solution providers must also be Cisco partners. Nearly 30 have already signed on. The few that do get on board will have solid margins available to them, and opportunities to maximize their revenue through a variety of services. Pioneer partners are guaranteed 15 percent margins on license resales, and will be trained, enabled and certified to sell services that can bring between 40 percent and 60 percent margins. "You have expansion opportunities, additional consulting opportunities," Asif said. "AppDynamics is a very good way for partners to grow their Cisco business and add a ton of value for their customers."
